ASX 4WD models come standard with fog lamps for extra visibility in tricky driving conditions.

Turning circle
ASX’s tight turning circle helps yo9u manoeuvre around town. Perform u-turns with ease thanks to the 10.6m turning circle.

Dusk Sensing Headlamps
In the ASX Aspire, dusk sensing headlamps do the thinking for you. Your lights automatically come on when it gets dark outside or when you're travelling through a tunnel.

Rain Sensing Wipers
A sensor in the ASX Aspire automatically detects moisture on the windscreen, activating the front wipers, allowing you to keep your hands on the wheel and stay focussed on the road ahead. This feature is especially handy when it's raining intermittently.

Smart key keyless operation
Smart Key is Mitsubishi's advanced security transmitter, which means completely key-less operation. Thanks to Smart Key in the Aspire model, ASX can recognise the key within a 70cm radius. So, you can lock and unlock the doors, open the tailgate and even start the engine, all whilst the Smart Key is still tucked in your pocket or bag.

Privacy Glass
Tinted window glass at the rear of ASX 4WD and Aspire models provides added privacy, and helps keep valuables out of sight. The tinted glass also helps protect against sunlight and UV rays.

Leather Interior
The ASX Aspire model comes with the added luxury of leather seat facing s and interior trim.

Audio Connectivity
Front floor console box contains handy USB connectivity and can take up to ten CDS. The console also contains auxiliary inputs to allow you to control your audio devices through the audio system. The cover can slide forward and back for use as an armrest and tray is provided beneath the cover for storing your iPod while it is being charged.

60/40 Split Fold Rear Seats
The versatility of ASX means that it can carry most bulky items with ease. With 60/40 spilt fold down seats, gym gear, prams, and suitcases can be accommodated with the minimum of fuss.

Bluetooth®
When a call comes through, the Bluetooth® system automatically cuts into the radio and when a paired Bluetooth® compatible phone is within the vehicle, it’s automatically connected.

The full colour, high-contrast LCD multi-information display provides immediate information including fuel levels, trip and total distance, fuel consumption, outside weather conditions and vehicle status.

One Touch Start System
ASX features a keyless operation system that allows you to start driving without ever taking your key from your pocket. To start the ignition, all you need to do is press the button located near the centre of the dash panel and the brake pedal at the same time. With one touch, the engine starts immediately.

Rockfor Fosgate Premium Audio System
Delivering a massive 710 watts with 9-surround sound speakers and integrated 10-inch subwoofer, ASX packs a serious punch in the sound department.

Mitsubishi Multi-Communication System
MMCS is an integrated communication and media system that provides satellite navigation, a reversing camera, audio control, and a host of other features, controlled via the 7” full colour in dash touch screen. MMCS also allows you to customise features such as dusk sensing headlamp sensitivity, wiper speed, climate control and room lamp shutdown delay.

Hill Start Control (HSC)
This technology makes it easier to start off up steep city street by preventing the vehicle from rolling backwards. It maintains the braking force for two seconds giving you time to move your foot from the brake to the accelerator.

Electronic Brakeforce Distribution
Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) works hand-in-hand with ASX’s ABS computer to assess load and distribute braking force between the front and rear wheel. As such, when you have load in the rear, it helps you stop in a shorter distance than with standard brakes.

Active traction Control (ATC)
  ATC helps maintain traction on slippery surfaces. This intelligent system automatically control the engine output and braking to prevent driving wheels form spinning, When sensing loss of traction in an independent wheel, ATC applies braking force to that wheel and sends extra power and torque to other wheels that have traction to keep you moving and in control.

ANTI LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM (ABS)
  ASX is equipped with ABS, which allows the driver to maintain steering control of the vehicle, letting the driver manoeuvre around objects under heavy braking conditions.

SRS Airbags
ASX has 7 supplementary Restraint System (SRS) Airbags – Side airbags for thorax protection, Curtain airbags that drop down from the celling and protect the occupants form side collision, Driver & Front passenger for head on collisions and Driver’s knee airbags to protect the legs and stop the driver form sliding forward. This comprehensive system is located to provide the ultimate in protection for all occupants in the event of an accident.

Active Stability Control (ASC)
ASC maintains stability and control when cornering by automatically recognising under-steer and over-steer. It applies brakes to the appropriate wheels to keep you online through corners.

RISE Safety
At the heart of any integrated safety system is outstanding design. The Mitsubishi Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) design combines an energy absorbing front section with a strong, rigid occupant cell to provide outstanding family protection in the event of an accident. The RISE body is coupled with a rigid ladder frame, side impact bars, and collision absorbing joints.

All Wheel Control (AWC)
ASX 4WD models come with AWC. The advantage of AWC is you can switch instantly (at speed up to 100km/h) between ‘2WD’ if you want grater fuel efficiency and ‘4WD’ if you need increased traction on slippery or loose roads. There’s also a ‘lock’ which provides positive drive in both front and rear wheels for when the road becomes unpredictable.

Reversing Camera
The MMCS reversing camera supplements the driver’s rear field of view by automatically appearing on screen when the reverse gear is engaged. Combined with rear parking sensors that alert you when objects get a little close, parking your ASX into tight spots is easy.

Reverse parking sensors
The reversing sensors on ASX will warn you if you’re getting too close to an object behind you, and will also take the very last centimetre of guesswork out of parking or backing into a tight spot.

Suspension
ASX features a wide tread and long wheelbase for a solid foundation, with the Macpherson strut front and multi-link rear suspensions to carry you smoothly over any bumps the road may throw your way. The shock absorbers and stabilisers have been precision tuned for sporty performance ensuring superior cornering and sure-footed stability.

6 Speed Manual
A 6 speed manual is available on the 1.8 litre MIVEC direct injection diesel engine. The 6 speed manual and optimal gear ratios achieves a balance of dynamic performance and fuel efficiency

CVT auto with 6-step Sports Mode
CVT offers infinitely variable gear ratios that allow the engine to always operate at the optimum RPM, irrespective of the vehicle’s speed. This maximises power and economy helping to ensure a smooth, stable ride with seamless gear changes.

Paddle shifters
