Dusk sensing headlamps
The Lancer's intelligent dusk sensors can be set to activate the headlamps as soon as it begins to get dark outside or travelling through tunnels.

Fog lamps
Fog lamps at the front of the Lancer make driving easier and safer in difficult weather situations and also add a touch of sportiness to the exterior.

Front spoiler
A front spoiler adds a sporty, aerodynamic touch and relects the Lancer's rally heritage.

Alloy Wheels
The VRX Lancer features 18-inch lightweight, 10-spoke alloy wheels – painted bright silver and machine polished.

Side skirts
Side skirts finish off the sporty side profile of the Lancer VRX.

Rain sensing wipers
A sensor automatically detects moisture on the windscreen, activating the front wipers, allowing you to keep your hands on the wheel and stay focused on the road ahead. This feature is especially handy when its raining intermittently.

Rear spoiler
A rear spolier adds extra dynamism and a sporty touch to the Lancer VRX.

Chrome exhaust
A genuine chrome exhaust finisher adds a sleek, sport touch to the Lancer VR and VRX.

Boot space
The new Lancer features a huge boot with up to 400L of storage capacity. The lid has been designed with side hinges - so as to avoid hitting yout cargo, and to make more efficient use of
the space.

Rockford Fosgate audio system
The Rockford Fosgate Premium Audio System is designed to provide crystal clear, low distortion fidelity to make any type of music come to life. A 6 stacker CD player, with MP3 compatible auxiliary input and 8 surround sound speakers*, combine with 10 inch subwoofer, to deliver an impressive 710 watts.

Mitsubishi Multi Communication System (MMCS) – Optional
MMCS is an integrated communication and media system that provides satellite navigation, audio control, DVD function and a host of other features, controlled via the 7” full colour in-dash touch screen.

Automatic climate control air-conditioning
Be comfortable, no matter what it's like outside. Select your preferred temperature, and the Climate Control system will automatically and continually adjust the temperature inside your Lancer.

MP3 player input jacks
An auxiliary input jack allows you to listen to music straight off your Mp3 player.

Steering wheel audio controls
With steering-wheel controls on the Lancer, your focus needn't leave the road. So you can access all your favourite tunes and turn up the volume - without taking your hands off the wheel.

Multi-information display
Get all the info you need on your Lancer - at a glance. You can configure the Lancer's LCD display panel to give you exactly what data you need - from outside temperature, to fuel level, distance to empty and plenty more.

Paddle gear shifts (CVT only)
Take command of the driving experience in a whole new way with lancer’s racing-inspired paddle shift system. Built directly into the steering wheel, they provide the thrill of total control in your CVT automatic without taking your hands off the steering wheel.

Cruise Control
For your convenience, cruise and audio controls are built in to the steering wheel.

Power windows
Lancer comes standard with front and rear power windows.

Smart Key
Smart Key is the Mitsubishi’s advanced security transmitter, giving you completely key-less operation. Standard on Lancer Aspire and VRX, Smart key recognises when you are within 70cm radius of the front door and boot lid. You can lock and unlock the doors, open the boot and even start the engine, all whilst the Smart Key is still tucked in your pocket or bag.

60:40 split-fold rear seats
The Lancer's rear seats have a flexible 60:40 split fold - so they can lie almost flat. This means you can fit all the gear you need, and get easy access to anything stored in the rear cargo area.

Flexible Cargo Space
Lancer Sportback also gives you the option to lower the rear floor, increasing the available storage space to a total capacity of 344L.

5-star ANCAP safety rating
Lancer has been awarded a 5-star rating by the Australian New Car Assess,emt Program (ANCAP), the highest rating possible. ANCAP, Australia’s leading automotive safety authority is supported by Australian and New Zealand automobile clubs.

Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE)
The RISE body system combines an energy-absorbing front section with a strong, rigid occupant cell to provide outstanding protection in the event of an accident. Crushable zones teamed with a straight frame chassis and octagonal section frames are designed to absorb and dissipate energy from the passenger compartment.

Supplementary Restraint System (SRS) Airbags
To provide ultimate protection in the event of a collision, Lancer is available with up to seven SRS airbags. Lancer is the only car in its class to come equipped with a driver’s knee airbag as standard across all models. In some head-on accidents, it stabilises the driver’s legs and lower body. This allows the other airbags to do their job of protecting the upper body more effectively.

Anti Lock Braking System (ABD)
Lancer is ready to perform if you’re faced with the unexpected. ABS helps the driver maintain steering control and avoid hazards by adjusting the braking pressure to prevent the wheels from locking up under hard braking or during an emergency stop.

Electronic Breakforce Distribution (EBD)
EBD helps you to stay in control should you need to stop quickly. When carrying passengers or heavier loads, EBD distributes braking force between the front and rear wheels to ensure optimum braking and reduce stopping distance.

Active Stability Control (ASC)
ASC maintains stability and minimises loss of control when cornering by automatically recognising understeer and oversteer. It then applies the brakes to the appropriate wheels to keep you on line and in control through corners.

Active Traction Control (ATC )
ATC automatically controls and improves the stability and acceleration of the car by minimising wheel spin, maintaining traction at all times even in the most slippery conditions.

MIVEC ENGINES
The Lancer range features two powerful yet fuel efficient MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing and Electronic Control) engines. ES and VR models feature a 2.0 litre engine while VRX and Aspire models deliver more power thanks to the 2.4 litre engine. MIVEC offers the latest technology in the form of a lighter engine with intelligent valve timing technology to deliver excellent fuel efficiency and lower emissions, while providing improved drivability.
