Dusk sensing headlamps

All Wheel Control (AWC)
Thanks to the sophisticated AWC system, the Lancer Ralliart range allows you to drive in ways you didn't think were physically possible. The AWC system is made up of 3 independent systems working together and operated via the vehicles ECU to give you handling that defies belief.

Twin Clutch Sport Shift Transmission (TC-SST)
The Lancer Ralliart range features Mitsubishi's new TC-SST technology, which provides split-second gear shifting and instant response. It uses 2 input gear shafts that house 1st, 3rd, 5th and Reverse on one shaft, and 2nd, 4th and 6th gears on another - each of wich are connected to an electronically controlled clutch. This allows consecutive gears to be preloaded in advance to offer quicker shift times.

MP3 player input jacks
An auxiliary input jack allows you to listen to music straight off your MP3 player.

Smart Key
Smart Key is Mitsubishi's advanced security transmitter, giving you completely key-less operation. Standard on Lancer Ralliart, Smart Key recognises when you are within a 70cm radius of the front doors and boot lid. You can lock and unlock the doors, open the boot and even start the engine, all whilst the Smart Key is still tucked in your pocket or bag.

Power windows
Lancer Ralliart comes standard with front and rear power windows.

Take command of the driving experience in a whole new way with Lancer Ralliart's racing-inspired paddle sift system. Built directly into the steering wheel, they provide the thrill of total control in your TC-SST without taking your hands off the steering wheel.

Mitsubishi Multi Communication System (MMCS) - Optional
MMCS is an integrated communication and media system that provides satellite navigation, audio control, DVD function and a host of other features, controlled via the 7" full colour in-dash touch screen.

Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD)
EBD helps you to stay in control should you need to stop quickly. When carrying passengers or heavier loads, EBD distributes braking force between the front and rear wheels to ensure optimum braking and reduce stopping distance.

Active Stability Control (ASC)
ASC maintains stability and minimises loss of control when cornering by automatically recognising understeer and oversteer. It then applies the brakes to the appropriate wheels to keep you on line and in control through corners.

Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE)
The RISE body system combines an energy-absorbing front section with a strong, rigid occupant cell to provide outstanding protection in the event of an accident. Crushable zones teamed with a straight frame chassis and octagonal section frames are designed to absorb and dissipate energy from the passenger compartment.

Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS)
Lancer Ralliart is ready to perform if you're faced with the unexpected. ABS helps the driver maintain steering control and avoid hazards by adjusting the braking pressure to prevent the wheels from locking up under hard braking or during an emergency stop.

Brake assist
Your Lancer Ralliart also includes a third aid to stopping effectively. Brake Assist recognises emergency stopping situations within milliseconds, releasing brake fluid as soon as you depress the pedal - enabling more accurate stopping.

Supplementary restraint system (SRS) airbags
To provide ultimate protection in the event of a collision, Lancer Ralliart is available with up to seven SRS airbags. Lancer Ralliart comes equipped with a driver's knee airbag as standard across all models. In some head-on accidents, it stabilises the driver's legs and lower body. This allows the other airbags to do their job of protecting the upper body even more effectively.

Active Traction Control (ATC)
Active Traction Control (ATC) helps the Lancer Ralliart maintain traction on the most slippery or rugged of surfaces. It automatically controls the engine's output - so driving wheels are prevented from spinning. Sensing loss of traction in independent weels, ATC applies braking force to that particular wheel and send extra power and torque to other wheels with traction to keep the vehicle moving.

MIVEC engine
The Lancer's 2.0L & 2.4L MIVEC Engines are a concentrated rush of excitement. They feature an aluminium block for better efficiency and MIVEC technology for more aggressive starts and maximum high-range outut. MIVEC is an exclusive technology that adjusts intake timing for optimal performance across the rev range. At low ranges, MIVEC provides on-demand acceleration for quicker starts, while higher ranges receive an impressive boost of power.

Active Centre Differential (ACD)
The ACD determines the optimal torque split between the front and rear axles. It then distributes this through the hydraulic multi-plate clutch. The ACD works in three modes - tarmac, gravel and snow - to enable quicker control response for changes in road surfaces.

Incorporating front MacPherson struts and a rear multi-link system, Lancer Ralliart makes easy work of unpredictable conditions. Responding excatly as needed, the independent suspension keeps all four wheels firmly on the ground for performance that's as reliable as it is comfortable.
