A genuine, sleek chrome exhaust available on the Outlander VRX adds a touch of style and sportiness.

Easy loading rear tailgate
Loading up just got a whole lot easier! A unique fold-down tailgate gives a lower load-in height, so bulky items not only fit into the Outlander - but slide in more easily.

Privacy glass
Tinted privacy glass adds to the security and privacy of your cabin area - and keeps valuable out of sight. The tint is ingrained in the glass so won't peel or scratch as can be the case with laminates.

Smart key entry
With Smart Key Entry, the Outlander knows you're coming. You simply touch the door handle, and Outlander recognises you and your Smart Key - and unlocks. You can then even start the ignition without inserting a key.

Automatic rain sensing wipers
The XLS Luxury and VRX Luxury models come equipped with premium technology such as rain sensing wipers. A sensor automatically detects moisure on the windscreen and according to the amount of rain present the system will activate the wipers at the appropriate speed.

Alloy wheels
Outlander boasts lightweight stylish alloy wheels on all models. VR, XLS and VRX models have 18” alloys while LS has 16” alloy wheels.

Automatic dusk sensing headlamps
The VRX and optional XLS luxury pack models help you stay focused on the road at all times by automatically turning on your lights when it gets dark or when you’re travelling through a tunnel.

Fog lamps
Fog lamps at the front of the Outlander provide visibility in difficult driving situations.

High Intensity Discharge (HID) head lamps
Intelligent, self-levelling high intensity discharge headlamps adjust to suit driver requirements and provide better visibility for night driving.

For longer adventures - a handy, insulated Thermo Box helps keep your drinks or other consumables warm or cool.

Rockford Fosgate Audio System
Outlander’s Rockford Fosgate Audio System delivers and impressive 710 watts, with 9 surround-sound speakers and an integrated 10 inch subwoofer. It also boasts an MP3 compatible CD player. Standard on VRX and included in optional XLS Luxury Pack.

Automatic Climate Control air-conditioning
With the Outlander, you'll always enjoy a comfortable ride, no matter what the weather is like outside. The sophisticated MItsubishi Climate Control system will automatically and continually adjust the temperature inside the cabin.

Mitsubishi Multi Communication System (MMCS) with Satellite Navigation
MMCS not only directs you to your destination with Sattelite Navigation touch screen functionality, it allows you to see whats behind you with reversing camera appearing on screen.

Multi-function display
Outlander features sport Instrumentation dials with a LED Multi Information display which provides handy vehicle information such as fuel consumption, a trip computer and outside temperature functions. You can configure the displays to show you exactly the information you want.

Bluetooth® phone connectivity
Outlander XLS and VRX have the latest hands free phone system technology with controls on the steering wheel for answering and ending calls.

Paddle gear shifts
Inspired by Mitsubishi's World Rally Heritage, paddle gear shifts on the steering wheel give you ultimate control in an automatic. You can make rapid gear changes in Sports Mode, without your hands ever leaving the wheel.

A luxurious, leather-wrapped steering wheel adds a subtle element of refinement to the Outlander and enhances the overall driving experience.

The Outlander has a range of storage options. Seats roll or fold away with ease. The luggage space is wide and easily fits sporting gear or other bulky items. The interior also features a range of storage spaces and pockets to keep the Outlander free of clutter.

Automatic Roll-and-tumble rear seat
You simply flick a switch, and the second row of seats fold and tumble forward - giving you a completely flat bed in the back, and a huge 1,691L of storage volume.

Optional 7 seats
The Outlander has the option to comfortably seat 7 people. The third row of seats also fold and store under the rear floor - providing greater rear cargo storage.

Five Star Ancap rating
Outlander models fitter with side curtain airbags have been recognised a class leading 5 star safety rating from the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) which tests the level of occupant protection provided in serious front and side crashes.

All wheel control
All Wheel Control allows you to make instant choices between 2WD for efficient highway cruising and 4WD for off-road traction, on the move at speeds up to 100km/h. When in 4WD mode, the intelligent Active Select System actively distributes torque between the front and rear wheels via electronically controlled coupling to maximise traction and acceleration. Or if you know the going will be rough, you can select lockable full time 4WD.

Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE)
You'll feel safe knowing you're protected by the strong body created by the Mitsubishi Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) system. It means you and your passengers are protected by the latest energy-absorbing chassis design and technology. In the event of a collision, impact-absorbing crushable zones are designed to absorb and dissipate energy away from the passenger compartment, keeping you and your passengers cocooned and protected.

MATTT: Mitsubishi All Terrain Technology
In addition to providing new levels of stability and control, the sophisticated MATTTM package includes a number of features to help you avoid accidents and keep you safe. Some of these features include Active Tracton Control, Active Stability Control and Multi-Mode Anti0lock BS brakes with EBD.

SRS airbags

Reversing sensors
The Outlander's Reversing Sensors will warn you if you're getting too close to an object behind you, and will also take the very last centimetre of guesswork out of parking or backing into a tight space.

Reversing cameras
The VRX and optional XLS luxury Pack has a reversing camera that enhances your field of vision. As part of the MMCS system, the camera automatically appears on screen when the reverse gear is engaged-helping eliminate the biggest blind spot of all.
In conjunction with reversing sensors, which alert you when you are getting close the objects, it also makes parking in tight spots a breeze.

Performance

MIVEC engine
The Outlander's 3.0L v^ or 2.4 4-Cylinder MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve Timing and lift Electronic Control) engine offers the latest technology with a lighter weight and intelligent valve-timing technology. This means improved fuel efficiency and lower emissions, with improved driveability.

Sports mode
In the Outlander, Sports Mode is engaged when the shift lever is moved sideways, giving you convenience of an automatic - or the performance of a slick, clutchless manual drive. When engaged, the transmission delivers a responsive, sporty and dynamic performance that allows for superior acceleration and overtaking.

Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT)
In the Outlander, CVT is electronically integrated with the MIVEC engine to ensure it's operating in the best gear ratio for optimum revs. This ensures maximum power and economy - and a smoother ride, without jolty gear changes.

INVECE 'Smart Logic' transmission
The Smart Logic transmission system learns and adaps to each driver's perferences by recording engin and foot brake data. the control logic then adapts the gearshift timing to suit your style. This means it adapts to your driving style.
